Entrepreneurial Legal Services Plan

At Cook & Company, we believe that the success and vibrancy of the community is founded on the will and determination of the entrepreneurs who start up and run the small businesses that provide not only goods and services, but also employment to many members of the community. We believe in the importance of small business and we want yours to succeed. If you are starting your own business and have a viable business plan, we can help you.

We know that legal services are often one of the last things that you want to spend money on as you start up or try to grow your business. Yet, the lack of legal advice at the beginning of your venture or expansion can be very costly to you down the road.

Therefore, at your request, we will consult with you to determine whether your business should operate as a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation. There is no charge for this initial consultation. If you do decide to incorporate, under our new entrepreneur program, we may defer our legal fees for incorporation of your company for up to a year from the date of incorporation. If the corporation has additional shareholders, we also will prepare a shareholder agreement for a discounted fee.

Cook & Company supports the dreams of the entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial spirit by offering and providing advice and legal services to these ventures at reasonable fees and terms of payment. Whether you need to incorporate, require a shareholder's or partnership agreement drawn up, need a contract or a lease reviewed, or need a demand letter done to attempt to collect a debt, we can assist you and do so for a reasonable fee.

Another way that we support you as an entrepreneur is by giving you a benefit to offer to your employees, namely membership in Cook & Company's Group Legal Plan. This is a benefit that you can give to your employees that does not cost you anything. It does not matter how small your business is. Not only can you offer this plan to your employees, you can take advantage of Cook & Company's Group Legal Plan so that your company and you receive the same discounts and benefits that we offer your employees who are plan members. As a member of our Group Legal Plan, each year we will provide you with certain free office and telephone consultations if needed by you or by the corporation.
